Project management

monday.com + Burrak AI

Keep the board honest without anyone updating it by hand.

Connects with OAuth — revoke any time

A monday.com board is only useful while it matches what is actually happening, and keeping it that way is nobody’s favourite job. Connecting it lets an agent do the reconciling: read the items, compare them against where the work really is, update the columns and post the progress note, so the board stays worth looking at between the meetings that would otherwise be spent fixing it.

In the connector catalogue: Read boards, update items, post progress.

Things you could ask for

Written the way you would actually say them. An agent plans the steps itself.

  • Read the delivery board and tell me which items are quietly behind, not just which are marked late.
  • Update the status column from these release notes and post an update on each item you changed.
  • Turn every request in this inbox into an item on the intake board with the right group.
  • Summarise what moved on this board in the last week, in the order a client would care about.
  • Find items where the owner has changed but the timeline never did, and flag them.

monday.com boards are built out of column types, and an agent writing into the wrong one fails quietly rather than loudly. Tell it which columns it may write to the first time, and check the result before you put it on a schedule.

Connecting it

  1. 1Create a Burrak account — the free plan is enough to try this.
  2. 2Open Connectors and choose monday.com.
  3. 3Authorise Burrak in monday.com's own window. Your password never reaches us; we receive a token you can revoke whenever you like.
  4. 4Give an agent a task. It will use the connector when the work calls for it.

monday.com and Burrak, in practice

Can it create boards, or only items on existing ones?
Working inside a board you already built is the reliable pattern, and it is also the better one: your board structure encodes decisions the team has made, and an agent inventing its own would be discarding them. Build the board, then hand it over.
Who appears as the author of its updates?
The account you authorised the connection with. That is worth knowing before an agent starts posting updates on a shared board, because to everyone else in the workspace those updates look like you wrote them. Say in the update text that an agent produced it.
Will it respect board automations?
A change the agent makes is an ordinary change, so your automations fire on it exactly as they would if you had clicked. That is usually what you want, and occasionally not — an agent bulk-updating a status column can send a notification to everyone subscribed to it.
