Documents & files
Google Drive + Burrak AI
Let an agent find, read and file your documents in Google Drive.
The hard part of a document task is usually finding the right file and the latest version of it. Connecting Google Drive lets an agent search your Drive the way you would, read or export what it finds, and save its own work back as a file in the folder where your team will actually look for it.
In the connector catalogue: Find files and folders, read and export them, upload new documents.
Things you could ask for
Written the way you would actually say them. An agent plans the steps itself.
- “Find the latest version of our pricing deck and summarise what changed since last quarter’s.”
- “Search my Drive for every contract that mentions auto-renewal and list them with their renewal dates.”
- “Write up this week’s meeting notes as a document and save it in the Team Notes folder.”
- “Export the board report as a PDF and tell me where you saved it.”
- “Collect the three customer research files from last month and turn them into one summary document.”
Search reaches everything your Google account can open, including files other people have shared with you. Name a folder in the brief when you want the agent to stay inside it.
Connecting it
- 1Create a Burrak account — any plan works, and your first week is $1.
- 2Open Connectors and choose Google Drive.
- 3Sign in to Google Drive in its own window. The consent screen names Composio, the integration partner that keeps this connection for Burrak — your password never reaches either of us, and disconnecting in Burrak deletes the connection.
- 4Give an agent a task. It will use the connector when the work calls for it.
Google Drive and Burrak, in practice
- Why does the consent screen mention Composio?
- Searching your whole Drive needs one of Google’s restricted permissions, and Burrak connects through Composio, an integration partner whose app holds it. You sign in on Google’s own page, your password never reaches either of us, and disconnecting in Burrak deletes the connection. The separate Google Docs, Sheets and Slides connectors use Burrak’s own app and only open files you point them at.
- Can it delete or share my files?
- No. It can search, read, export, upload, create folders and move files, but it has no tools for deleting files or changing who they are shared with. Sharing is the one Drive action that is genuinely hard to take back, so it stays with you.
- Can it edit an existing Google Doc?
- Through this connector it reads documents and creates new files rather than editing in place. For editing inside a Doc, Sheet or Slides deck, connect those connectors as well — they work on the file you give them, and the two combine well: Drive to find it, Docs to change it.
