AI writing assistant
An AI writing assistant that does the research before it writes
Give it the brief once. It finds the facts, writes the draft in your style and puts it where your team will read it.
A writing assistant that only rewrites the sentence in front of it leaves the slow part, which is gathering what to say, to you. A Burrak agent starts there: it searches the live web through the Tavily connector, with links you can check, reads the documents you point it to, and only then drafts the piece.
It remembers your house style between tasks, such as British or American spelling, how long your intros run and the words you never use, so the second draft needs fewer notes than the first. Connect Google Docs and it edits in the document your team already comments on, instead of handing you text to paste.
Things you could ask for
Written the way you would actually say them. The agent plans the steps itself.
- “Write a 1,200-word blog post on how small restaurants can cut food waste, with sources for every statistic.”
- “Turn these call notes into a two-page proposal in the format of the one I sent Acme last month.”
- “Edit this Google Doc for clarity and length. Cut it to 800 words and keep the headings.”
- “Draft this month’s customer newsletter from the changes in our product notes, in the tone of the last three issues.”
- “Rewrite our About page for small-business owners instead of developers, and give me two headline options.”
What you get back
A draft in a Google Doc or a downloadable document, with the sources it used listed so you can check them. Ask for changes in the same chat and the agent revises the same file.
Tools it works in
Connect a tool once by signing in to it, and the agent works on your real email, calendar and files instead of whatever you paste into a chat.
How to set it up
- 1Create an account. Any plan works, and the first week of a paid plan is $1.
- 2Create an agent and give it the Content Creator or Technical Writer role from the Marketplace.
- 3Connect Google Docs, Google Drive if it should find your existing files, and Tavily so it can search the live web and cite its sources.
- 4Brief it with the audience, length and tone. Tell it once about your house style; it keeps that in memory.
Roles that suit this work: AI Content Creator, AI Technical Writer, AI Proposal Strategist, AI LinkedIn Content Creator.
Where it is the wrong tool
- AI writing can be wrong. Check the facts and the sources before anything is published, especially numbers, quotes and anything legal or medical.
- It is not a plagiarism checker or an AI-detection tool. If a school, client or publisher does not allow AI-assisted writing, that rule still applies.
- A long piece such as a book or a manual works best section by section, with your notes in between, rather than as one enormous brief.
Common questions
- How is this different from ChatGPT for writing?
- A chat assistant writes from what you paste in. A Burrak agent can go and get the material itself, from the web, your Drive or your Notion, keeps your style in memory between tasks, and saves the result as a file or edits your Google Doc directly. You can also choose which AI model writes each piece.
- Can it write in my voice?
- It gets close once it has examples. Point it at a few pieces you have written and tell it what to keep; it stores those preferences in memory, which you can read and edit on the Memory page.
- Can it publish to my website or social accounts?
- It hands you the finished text, or a designed asset through the Canva connector. Publishing stays with you, which is where it belongs for anything with your name on it.
