Outlook + Burrak AI

An agent that works through your Outlook inbox and writes the replies.

Connects with OAuth — revoke any time

If your mail lives in Outlook, this is the same help Gmail users get: an agent that finds the messages that matter, reads the attachments, and drafts or sends the replies from your own address. It works across your folders, so “the thread with the supplier last month” is something you can ask for rather than dig out.

In the connector catalogue: Search and read Outlook mail, send, reply, forward and draft emails.

Things you could ask for

Written the way you would actually say them. An agent plans the steps itself.

  • “List the emails from this week that are waiting on an answer from me, oldest first.”
  • “Search my inbox for the purchase order from Northwind and tell me the delivery date it gives.”
  • “Draft a polite follow-up to everyone who has not replied to Monday’s request.”
  • “Forward the signed agreement to our accountant with a two-line note explaining what it is.”
  • “Read the attachments on today’s supplier emails and summarise any price changes.”

Sending is outward-facing and goes from your own address. Ask for drafts when you want to read a message before it leaves; the agent can create a draft and leave the send to you.

Connecting it

  1. 1Create a Burrak account — any plan works, and your first week is $1.
  2. 2Open Connectors and choose Outlook.
  3. 3Sign in to Outlook in its own window. The consent screen names Composio, the integration partner that keeps this connection for Burrak — your password never reaches either of us, and disconnecting in Burrak deletes the connection.
  4. 4Give an agent a task. It will use the connector when the work calls for it.

Outlook and Burrak, in practice

Does it work with a work or school Microsoft account?
Personal Outlook.com and Hotmail accounts connect straight away. Most organisations now require an administrator to approve any app that reads mail, so a work account may stop at a “Need admin approval” screen. That is a policy in your organisation’s Microsoft tenant, and an administrator approves it once for everyone.
Why does the consent screen mention Composio?
Burrak connects to Microsoft 365 through Composio, an integration partner whose app is registered with Microsoft. You sign in on Microsoft’s own page, your password never reaches either of us, and disconnecting Outlook in Burrak deletes the connection. You can also remove the app at any time from your Microsoft account’s privacy settings.
Can it delete email or change my mailbox rules?
No. It can search, read, send, reply, forward and draft, and read your contacts to find the right address, but it has no tools for deleting messages or editing rules. Those are the changes you do not want an agent making on a misread instruction.
