AI email assistant

An AI email assistant that drafts the replies, so you only approve them

Connect Gmail or Outlook once. Your agent triages the inbox, pulls out what matters and writes the replies.

Most email work is not reading. It is deciding which threads need you, digging the facts out of them and writing the reply that was always going to take twenty minutes. A Burrak agent does that inside your own mailbox, from your own address, and hands you drafts to approve rather than a summary you still have to act on.

Because the agent keeps memory between tasks, it learns how you write, such as how formal you are with clients or how you sign off, and the drafts get closer to your voice over time. Put it on a schedule and the morning triage is waiting for you before you open your laptop.

Things you could ask for

Written the way you would actually say them. The agent plans the steps itself.

  • “Go through today’s unread mail and list the threads that need a reply from me, oldest first, with one line each.”
  • “Draft replies to the three customer emails from yesterday. Leave them as drafts; I will send them myself.”
  • “Find every invoice email from this month and put the supplier, amount and due date in a spreadsheet.”
  • “Draft a polite follow-up to everyone who has not answered Monday’s request.”
  • “Every Friday at 4pm, send me a summary of the week’s emails from our three biggest clients.”
  • “Label every newsletter from the last month so I can review them in one place.”

What you get back

Drafts sitting in your Gmail or Outlook drafts folder, a short list of what needs you, or a table of the facts pulled out of a pile of threads. On paid plans the agent can also email you when a task is done, and replying to that email gives it the next instruction, so you can run your inbox assistant from your inbox.

How to set it up

  1. 1Create an account. Any plan works, including the free tier on iOS and Android.
  2. 2Create an agent, then connect Gmail or Outlook from the Connectors tab. You sign in on Google’s or Microsoft’s own page; your password never reaches us.
  3. 3Brief it: “check my unread mail and draft replies, do not send”. Start with drafts until you trust the result.
  4. 4Put the recurring part on a schedule from the Tasks page, such as a morning triage at 8am or a Friday client summary.

Where it is the wrong tool

  • It is not a bulk or marketing email tool. For newsletters and campaigns to a list, use an email platform built for deliverability and unsubscribes.
  • It does not react the instant an email lands. It works when you ask, or on a schedule you set, for example every hour.
  • It cannot delete or trash messages, on purpose. Inbox-zero clean-ups are easy to ask for and hard to undo when an agent reads “old” more generously than you meant.
  • Sending cannot be undone. Ask for drafts whenever a message matters, and the agent will leave the send to you.

Common questions

Does it work with Gmail and Outlook?
Yes, both, including Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 accounts, as long as your administrator allows third-party apps to read mail. Some organisations block that by default; if sign-in stops at an “admin approval” screen, only your administrator can change it.
Will it send emails without asking me?
Only if you tell it to. The agent can send, but if your brief says “draft”, it creates drafts in your mailbox and stops there. We recommend drafts for anything going to a customer until you have seen a few.
Why does the sign-in screen mention Composio?
Reading mail needs one of Google’s and Microsoft’s restricted permissions, and Burrak connects through Composio, an integration partner whose app holds them. You sign in on the provider’s own page, and disconnecting in Burrak deletes the connection.
