Personal AI assistant

A personal AI assistant that keeps working after you put your phone down

Like a virtual assistant for the desk work: it reads your email and calendar, does the research and tells you when it is done.

Most AI assistants answer a question and wait for the next one. A Burrak agent takes a job, such as “find me three quotes for a new boiler and compare them” or “clear the travel admin for next week”, and keeps going in the cloud until it is done, then sends you a notification.

Connect your email, calendar and to-do list and it works with your real life rather than whatever you paste into a chat. Brief it by voice on your phone, check the result later on your laptop, and let it remember the things you are tired of repeating: your preferences, your people and the way you like things done.

Things you could ask for

Written the way you would actually say them. The agent plans the steps itself.

  • “Every weekday at 7am, tell me what is on my calendar today and which emails need an answer before then.”
  • “Find three well-reviewed plumbers near me who do weekend call-outs, with prices where they list them.”
  • “Plan a four-day trip to Lisbon in March on a mid-range budget, with a day-by-day plan and what to book first.”
  • “Go through my inbox and add every task someone has asked me to do this week to my Todoist.”
  • “Remind me every Sunday evening of the bills due in the coming week, from the emails I have received.”

What you get back

A notification on your phone when the job is done, with the answer, a document or a list waiting in the chat. Scheduled jobs run on their own and report back the same way.

How to set it up

  1. 1Download Burrak AI for iPhone or Android. The app and account are free, with pay-as-you-go credits.
  2. 2Create a remote agent so it can work while your phone is locked.
  3. 3Connect the accounts it should help with: email, calendar, to-do list, and Tavily for web research.
  4. 4Ask for things by typing or by voice, and put the routine ones on a schedule from the Tasks page.

Where it is the wrong tool

  • It does not make or take phone calls, and it cannot pay for things, buy things or move money for you.
  • It is not a smart-speaker assistant. There is no wake word; voice is dictation inside the app.
  • It is great at desk work and bad at judgement calls about people. Decisions with consequences, like accepting a job or replying to a difficult message, stay with you; ask for a draft.

Common questions

Can an AI virtual assistant replace a human one?
For desk work, like inbox triage, research, scheduling prep, drafting and reminders, it covers a lot of what people hire a virtual assistant for, around the clock and for a fraction of the cost. It does not make calls, run errands or handle relationships, so for those a person is still the right answer.
Is it free?
The iOS and Android apps and the account are free, and you pay only for the credits your agent uses. Paid plans from $9.99 a month add included credits, email notifications and the web and desktop apps; the first week of any paid plan is $1.
Does it remember me?
Yes. Each agent keeps memory across conversations, including your preferences, the people you mention and decisions you have made. You can read and edit it on the Memory page at any time.
