Gmail + Burrak AI

An agent that reads your inbox, drafts the replies and sends what you approve.

Connects with OAuth — revoke any time

Most email work is triage and drafting: find the threads that need you, pull the facts out of them, and write the reply that was going to take twenty minutes. Connecting Gmail lets an agent do that in your own mailbox, from your own address, and hand you drafts to approve rather than a summary you still have to act on.

In the connector catalogue: Search and read mail, send, reply, forward and draft emails.

Things you could ask for

Written the way you would actually say them. An agent plans the steps itself.

  • “Go through today’s unread mail and tell me which threads actually need a reply from me, with one line on each.”
  • “Draft replies to the three customer emails from yesterday — leave them as drafts, I will send them myself.”
  • “Find every invoice email from this month, pull out the supplier, amount and due date, and put them in a table.”
  • “Reply to Sarah’s thread about the launch date with the new timeline, and copy in the product lead.”
  • “Every Friday, send me a summary of the week’s emails from our three biggest clients.”
  • “Label every newsletter in my inbox from the last month so I can review them in one place.”

Sending is outward-facing and cannot be undone. If you would rather see a message before it goes, ask for a draft — the agent can create drafts in Gmail and leave the send to you.

Connecting it

  1. 1Create a Burrak account — any plan works, and your first week is $1.
  2. 2Open Connectors and choose Gmail.
  3. 3Sign in to Gmail in its own window. The consent screen names Composio, the integration partner that keeps this connection for Burrak — your password never reaches either of us, and disconnecting in Burrak deletes the connection.
  4. 4Give an agent a task. It will use the connector when the work calls for it.

Gmail and Burrak, in practice

Why does the Google consent screen mention Composio?
Reading Gmail requires one of Google’s restricted permissions, and Burrak connects to it through Composio, an integration partner whose app holds that permission. You sign in on Google’s own page, your password never reaches either of us, and disconnecting Gmail in Burrak deletes the connection at Composio too. You can also remove access at any time from your Google account’s security settings.
Can it delete my email?
No. The connector can search, read, send, reply, forward, draft and add labels, but it has no tool for deleting or trashing messages. That is deliberate: tidying an inbox is easy to ask for and hard to undo when an agent reads “old” more generously than you meant.
Does it work with Google Workspace accounts?
Yes, as long as your Workspace administrator allows third-party apps to access Gmail. Some organisations block that by default; if the sign-in stops at an “app blocked” or “admin approval” screen, that setting is the reason, and only your administrator can change it.
